WHAT'S NEW -
Residents of the Unincorporated Areas in Brevard County will have a new curbside Collection Agreement with Waste Management beginning October 1, 2013. A major change will be the auto-cart collection system. Two (2) standard 64-gallon carts will be delivered to each customer at no charge to be used for the automated collection. One cart will be for garbage, the other for recycling. Recycling carts will have yellow lids.

Our Mission
To protect public health by providing an efficient and environmentally sound Solid Waste Management System for Brevard County's Customers. Our Facilities consist of two landfills (Central Disposal Facility in Cocoa and Sarno Landfill in Melbourne). Two transfer stations (Sarno and Titusville). The Mockingbird Mulching Facility and Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers located at the Central Disposal Facility, Sarno Landfill and Mockingbird Mulching Facility .
