Facts about the Utility Services Department
Brevard County's Utility Services Department administers the county's Water and Wastewater Programs and provides drinking water treatment and distribution services, wastewater collection and treatment services, and reclaimed water in numerous service areas (Click here for Service Area Map)
throughout Brevard County, Florida.
The Utility Services Department is operated as an "enterprise funds", this means the department receives no tax funding. All operating and capital
expenses are paid for from user fees and impact fees collected from new users of these services. The Department
is a County agency, operating under the control and authority of the
Brevard County Board of County Commissioners.
