Dear Fellow Neighbors: When a public safety incident occurs, we understand that it may threaten our citizens and our community. The Office of Public Information/Public Education is responsible for accurate dissemination of information to our community and surrounding counties. The public information officer serves as the liaison between the community and the public safety team.

When an emergency scene is unfolding; such as, a residential or commercial structure fire, brush fires, environmental emergencies, motor vehicle crashes, or any other emergency situation the public information officer will work closely with local, national, and international news agencies. This will ensure that our community receives accurate and timely emergency related information. In addition, our goal is to prepare our citizens before an emergency occurs. This office is also committed in providing educational information, to our citizens, regarding fire and medical related issues.
