EMS Reservists
|
What is an EMS Reservist?
An EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Reservist is a program in which
First Responders, EMT's, and Paramedics can volunteer their time to
ride with, and respond to emergencies with Brevard County Fire Rescue.
EMS Reservists offer an exceptional service to the community and to
Brevard County Fire Rescue. Reservist lend their medical talent
on a volunteer basis to help citizens in a medical emergency,
at the same time, it gives the members of Brevard County Fire Rescue
more staff at a cost savings to the taxpayers.
Reservists are also used in special details such as medical standby at
baseball and football games, various other sporting events, Teen-Fest,
rodeos, and other public based functions that require medical assistance. |
