Special Operations

Special Operations is managed by District Chief Robert Seccuro. Chief Seccuro ensures that the Special Operations Team is well prepared to respond to specialized emergencies such as technical rescue incidents, which include high angle rescue, trench rescue, and confined space rescue. Hazardous material responses are also handled by the Special Operations team. These incidents include fuel leaks and spills, chemical agent release and spills, and biological agent release.

EMS Reservist

The EMS Reservist program is managed by Fay Cushnie. Fay coordinates the scheduling of EMS reservist for training, special events, and other activities for Fire Rescue. If you have an interest in emergency medicine and would like to become a EMS reservist, contact Fay at 633-2056.

Office of EMS/Public Information

The Office of EMS and Public Information are under the direction of Division Chief Orlando Dominguez. Chief Dominguez handles all of the medical protocols for BCFR, coordinates medical concerns with all of the Brevard County hospital emergency departments. He is also the Public Information Officer for Brevard County Fire Rescue. He is the liaison for all of the media networks in Brevard County and television news agencies in the Central Florida viewing area. He also manages the media releases for BCFR and public programs such as the Vial of Life and Home Inspections.
