Volunteering is a great way to share your skills, teach others, learn something new, or to simply help protect our local resources. We work with volunteers of all ages as well as groups, on a variety of short and long-term projects. If you would like to dedicate a portion of your time as a Volunteer, please contact our office at 633-2016 or e-mail Elizabeth Melvin for more information.
Volunteer Work Really Adds Up! Last year (2008), 33,835 volunteers gave their time and resources to Brevard County programs for a total of 835,997 hours of work. The total value is calculated using $18.04 per hour figure which equals $15,081,385 in savings to taxpayers!!
