Description: $16.81 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Work schedule includes weekends, holidays and evenings. North Area. Performs skilled crafts and trades work supervising and participating in the maintenance and repair of various types of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment. May supervise subordinate staff.
Requirements: Five (5) years of experience as a licensed air conditioning mechanic. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Requirements: No formal training or experience is required. Experience as a crossing guard or other work with elementary school age children is desirable. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be of good moral character as determined by background investigation. Must be able to pass the Brevard County Performance Checklist for School Crossing Guards prior to assuming School Crossing Guard duties. Must have, in good working order, a telephone at residence or a personal cell phone.
