PRETRIAL DIVERSION

The Pretrial Diversion Program is designed to defer prosecution of qualified, first-time offenders.

Each participant signs a contract postponing the right to a speedy trial and agreeing to comply with the program requirements. Defendants are supervised to ensure completion of their personalized contractual agreement, which includes (at a minimum) a custom tailored treatment plan, law-abiding behavior, payment of restitution, victim impact fees, and program fees.
