Addressing Community Needs -- Providing Community Services


Community Based Organizations (CBO's) are non-profit community service agencies that partner with the Brevard County Housing and Human Services Department to provide human services within Brevard County.


Community Based Organizations (CBO's) implement and provide services that relate to the goals and charters of advisory boards to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners. Some of these advisory boards are:

NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY

BREVARD COUNTY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

2009-2010 COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS (CBO) PROGRAM

 

 

Applications will be available beginning Friday, July 31, 2009 and will be accepted thru Friday, August 28, 2009 at 3:00 PM.

 

The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners seeks to partner with human service agencies to provide a continuum of services addressing identified priorities for the citizens of Brevard County. Eligible providers that intend to pursue a contractual relationship for programs or services with Brevard County in FY 2009-2010 will be required to complete a Request for Proposal.

 

The Request for Proposal will be made available on the Housing and Human Services Department’s Community Based Organizations (CBO) website www.brevardcounty.us/cbo/, on Friday, July 31, 2009 by 5:00 p.m. A hard copy of the RFP will be made available only upon request.
