Building Code issues building permits for the unincorporated areas of Brevard County. Properties located within the limits of the municipalities, owned by the Federal Government, or the school board are not within the permitting jurisdiction of this office. If you are unsure whether or not your property is in the county or city, visit the Property Appraiser's web site at www.brevardpropertyappraiser.com.
WHAT'S NEW? You can now email a fire inspection request to Fire.Inspection@brevardcounty.us by 4:30 pm the working day prior to the inspection day. Be sure to include 1) the full permit number, 2) the site address, 3) the type of inspection requested, and 4) the correct contact information for the person on site requesting the inspection.
