Brevard County Parks & Recreation South Area Recreational Programs
| Persons with Disabilities Services
South Area Parks and Recreation provides activities for developmentally challenged children and adults. Their disabilities range from head traumas to Down Syndrome. They also have various developmental disabilities that make it difficult for them to function and participate in everyday activities, therefore we plan and conduct activities geared towards the disabled. We provide weekly activities, Friday night dances, and we year round Special Olympics training and competitions. Monthly Calendar of Events are made available on the county website. For Information contact Barbara Mitchell at (321) 952-3222. |
