Therapeutic Recreation is a specialized area in the field of recreation that focuses specifically on providing recreation and leisure services for people with disabilities. Inclusion Services are also provided, with reasonable accommodations, joining our “typically developing” participants in the same activity. |
| Aquatics: Swimming & Water Sports
Central Area Parks and Recreation offers a wide range of aquatic activities including but not limited to, open swim hours, swim lessons, diving, water aerobics, and swim teams. | Youth Athletics and Activities Brevard County Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of youth athletics and recreational activities. Available youth activities includes sports leagues and sport enhancement programs, classes at community centers and special events. | Adult Athletics
Adult athletic programs are designed to provide a competitive leisure opportunity that promotes physical and mental well being to the participants through team and individual league play. Central Area Parks and Recreation offers a variety of adult athletics which range from recreational to competitive sports, fitness classes, individual sports and 3K, 5K, walks/runs, Bi and Tri-Athlons.
