Brevard County Solicitation of Proposals to
Administer the Purchase Assistance Program

Brevard County Housing & Human Services Department is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to compete for and provide day-to-day administration of the Purchase Assistance Program utilizing State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program and HOME Investment Partnership funds.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY FOR PUBLIC SERVICES ACTIVITIES
Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG-PS) 2014-2015

The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners Housing and Human Services Department is announcing that approx. $175,513.20 in CDBG Public Service funding will be available for fiscal year 2014-2015.  Grants are available to local organizations through a Request for Proposal (RFP) application process, with an application deadline of Friday, April 11, 2014 by 4:00 pm.

The CDBG program's primary objective is to provide funds to local programs that meet the identified needs of the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan, and to improve quality of life in low and moderate-income neighborhoods, identified by the County as "Neighborhood Strategy Areas."

A  Second Mandatory Technical Assistance Meeting for all prospective applicants will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Brevard County Government Center located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940 in the Building "C," Florida Room on the 3rd Floor.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide information on the CDBG-PS Grant requirements and the RFP application process.  Applicants must attend and sign in at the Technical Assistance Meeting in order to be eligible to submit a proposal application.
