Brevard County Fire Rescue is an ALS transport agency that hires State of Florida certified Firefighter/EMTs and Firefighter/Paramedics. Applicants must possess a valid State of Florida driver's license, current CPR/ACLS certification, and a current CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test). Applicants will be required to pass a high-level background investigation.
All Firefighter/ EMTs must agree to become paramedic certified within Departmental time frames. Tuition will be provided by the Department.

Advertising and applications for open positions within the Department are handled by the Brevard County Office of Human Resources. Current job openings and applications can be obtained at the Human Resource Department.
