Commissioner Nelson hosts a monthly open house in 2 different locations to encourage residents to speak with him about community issues. The second Friday of the month open houses are held in Cocoa from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Central Brevard Library and Reference Center at 308 Forrest Ave. The fourth Friday of the month open houses are held in Cocoa Beach from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cocoa Beach Library located at 550 North Brevard Ave.
