Budget Office Adopted Budget for the Current Fiscal Year

The adopted budget for FY 2011-2012 is $931,931,814, representing a decrease in spending of  8.48% or ($86,307,714), from the FY 2010-2011 adopted budget of $1,018,238,988, and a decrease in spending of 20.45% or ($239,628,500), from the FY 2010-2011 final budget of $1,171,560,314. The FY 2011-2012 Budget is balanced and was developed to meet mandated responsibilities. It focuses on core areas of service while creating a more business friendly and customer focused organization and is consistent with the Vision as well as the priorities of the Board and the County Manager.

This document provides a summary of the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2011 and ending September 30, 2012. The County's $931.9 million budget is balanced and will fund County services, capital investments and reserves to meet community and organizational needs.
