Budget Office Adopted Budget for the Current Fiscal Year

The adopted budget for fiscal year beginning October 1, 2012 and ending September 30, 2013 is $939,303,125 which represents a spending decrease of (6.34%) or ($63,559,307), from the FY 2011-2012 current budget of $1,002,862,432 (as of October 9, 2012). The FY 2012-2013 Budget is balanced and was developed to meet mandated responsibilities. It focuses on core areas of service while maintaining a business friendly and customer focused organization and is consistent with the Vision as well as the priorities of the Board and the County Manager.

In order to best serve the needs of Brevard County’s citizens, the summary of the adopted budget is being made available and is provided below. Additionally, the various taxing authorities’ adopted ad valorem millages are also provided. The detailed County Adopted Budget Book folllow's.
