About the Budget Office
The Brevard County Budget Office is responsible for the coordination of all budget activities of county government. Specific responsibilities include the preparation of a proposed annual county budget and five year capital improvement program, analysis of the fiscal impact of proposed county ordinances, relevant proposed state and federal legislation, development of cost plans for county central services, FEMA reimbursement oversight, position, and budget oversight in conjunction with the county's financial management system, and operational review of and assistance to county agencies.
